I’m not sure if anyone has brought this up yet but with the newest version of wordpress currently 3.2.1, you cannot edit the event date anymore. I have included a screen shot of the issue. I have also tested this in IE9 and Chrome 12.
You can see that the calendar is cut off just after the month and day.
Seems to work just fine here. Try using the default themes as well, and see if that helps you. And look in your browser for javascript errors, sometimes another plugin interferes.
You were right about the plugins. It turned out to be Gold Cart for WP e-Commerce which is not something I can disable on my clients site.
No it is the add-on service for WP-eCommerce which is free. It adds functionality to their free plugin so they charge for it. I can e-mail it to you and you can try activating it without the API and see if that causes the problem. Let me know where to send it if you want it.
Well, for debugging sake I will look at it for 5 minutes: since it’s that plugin that’s causing issues, I can just take a quick look to see if I can work around it (it not being free as well).

I found that is is specific to the authorize.net gateway which can only be activated if you have wp-ecommerce installed and active. I had to revert back to the old authorize.net gateway which is still part of the gold cart plug to fix the issue with credit cards not being processed correctly and the issue with your plugin went away. I opened a ticket with wpec and have still not heard back from them.
