I have been using Events Managed Extended for awhile, I noticed recently that it would not allow me to insert events due to the fact that the date picker was not working. After researching the issue this is the fix that worked for me.

First of all I have an up-to-date install of wordpress and also I’m using the buddypress plugin with the buddypress-colors theme.

After multiple searches pointed towards the cause being the jquery easing plugin built into the buddypress theme…After looking and noting that the easing plugin is the most current up-to-date version I checked to see what version jQuery the latest wordpress was running…It was running 1.6.1 I updated to 1.6.2 and everything was working fine. The file I updated and you will possibly want to update is located at your-domain/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js All I did was remove that file..Upload the current jquery, rename it to just jquery.js and refreshed the page..everything was working fine!
