I just noticed that all my events are not being displaying AM and PM correctly on the events page, although they look correct on the edit events screen.
For example, instead of 9:00AM – 2:00PM, I’m seeing 9:00AM – 2:00AM. When I look at the edit screen, the AM or PM designation is correct. It seems that whatever is in the beginning time box–AM or PM–goes into the end time box as well. The link to my events page is http://www.kcmga.org/events-4/. I re-activated the admin permission you had a few weeks ago. If you need the username and password–though I’m sure you kept them ;-)–let me know.

Mon 2 Apr 2012 at 01:49 #49437AnonymousInactiveSorry I didn’t reply sooner. This became my least-pressing priority for several weeks.
I’ve looked at it again, and it seems that everything is working as it should in the Event plugin, but the display on the website is still funky. For example, the citriculture event shows as 8 am to 4 pm in the edit window, but on the website it shows as 8 am to 4 am. Webpage is http://www.kcmga.org/events-4/for list and http://www.kcmga.org/events/76/mg-specialist-citriculture/ for individual listing.
I’m not using any shortcode. The “default single events” setting is
<p>#M #j #Y – #h:#i #A – #@h:#@i#A
#_LOCATION#_TOWN</p><p>#_NOTES</p>
<p>#_MAP</p>
I haven’t changed any of the settings, so I can’t figure out why something that was working fine suddenly stopped.
Mon 2 Apr 2012 at 11:45 #49438FrankyKeymasterOk, it’s your placeholder that’s wrong. For end time it should be “#@A”, not “#A”
But why not use to more easy #_12HSTARTTIME and #_12HENDTIME there?
Mon 2 Apr 2012 at 13:20 #49439AnonymousInactiveThat worked. Thanks.
Any idea why it stopped working after the last update when I didn’t change any of the placeholder code? Not really important, just curious.
Mon 2 Apr 2012 at 13:30 #49440FrankyKeymasterSince you always used #A, it should always have shown the start AM/PM, never the end one. Even if the code was wrong and it always showed the end AM/PM, then the start one was faulty. It is impossible that it worked correctly …
Mon 2 Apr 2012 at 19:35 #49441AnonymousInactiveJust another example of brain failure, which I seem to experience more as I have to deal with more code! I don’t remember and didn’t document making a change to the code, and it matches what I originally documented that I entered. I must have just read what I expected to read; it wouldn’t be the first time. It’s troubling to me that nobody who was supposed to be proofing this site for me noticed it–or at least never mentioned it! Guess I need better proofers. Thanks for all your help. This is a really good plugin that works well with the Weaver II Pro theme.
