Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › Reminder and import in my gmail calender
Hi Franky,
I have two questions.
1. I use your plugin for my workshops I am giving. Sometimes people reserve but forget they did :-(.
So it would be great when they got a reminder mail, about 24 hours before the event is.
Is that possible?
2. Every time someone reserve a workshop, I copy and past the “afdrukvoorbeeld” in my own calender. I read something about ical and so, but perhaps can you explain it to me how I can do that!
Thank you!
Groetjes uit Nederland,
Margriet.
Well, you can use ical to subscribe to one single event or all future events. You can then use that ical link to enter into e.g. your gmail agenda, but the alarming is always up to you.
Just use the shortcode [events_ical_link] for an ical link to all events, or inside the format settings for an event, you can use “#_ICALLINK” for the ical link to just that event.
I suggest you play around with these once.
Hi Franky,
Thank you for your quick reaction.
I placed the “#_ICALLINK” on the page from just one event. People see then ICAL and when they click on it, it would open a file with ics. That is not what I want.
So I tried the shortcode [events_ical_link]. Where do I place this code?
Then I was asking myself if it does what I want:
I would like in my gmail calender the names of the people who reserve an event.
Thank you!
Margriet.
no, it does not do that.
For gmail integration: search the forum and read the FAQ on http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress
Thank you.
