Hello
I have been using the plugin over the last few days. I’ve added many events, each time adding the address in the Edit Event section and the Google Map automatically comes up.
However, I logged in today to continue adding events, but the map no longer appears when adding an event (also when adding locations). At first there is text saying “map not found”, however even that disappears when I input the address.
I’ve gone through my settings and nothing has been changed, the option “Enable Google Maps integration?” is set to yes.
Has anyone else encountered this and does anyone know a solution?
Thanks

Thu 9 Aug 2012 at 11:39 #49885AnonymousInactiveHi Franky. Thanks, but I de-activated the two other plugins I have running, and neither made a difference.
I’ve also tried it in Chrome, Firefox, IE and Safari but it’s the same story. And it was working fine until yesterday.

No errors
Thu 9 Aug 2012 at 14:20 #49888AnonymousInactiveSometimes, for me, the map doesn’t appear correctly while composing the event in the Edit panel, but it still shows up fine when the actual event is displayed.
Have you posted and viewed your events, jamiehan?

Alas, no. In fact, now that I think about it, it’s only after I added the shortcode #_MAP to my Single Event Format yesterday that this happened.
Thu 9 Aug 2012 at 14:40 #49890AnonymousInactiveHmm, maybe you should post the (sanitized) contents of your Default Single Event Format code, between “backtick” marks.
You could also just start over with a blank Default Single Event Format…
Thu 9 Aug 2012 at 15:20 #49891FrankyKeymasterWhatever shortcode you add in the settings, it should have no effect when creating a new event or location. Mabe google is blocking you for using too much of their API? Or another plugin is loading a different version of jquery? Try disabling all other plugins and see what gives. Also, check that you still can use the google map api (if you’re using a proxy, look there for possible errors).
Mon 13 Aug 2012 at 14:23 #49892AnonymousInactiveI’ve tried disabling all plugins. Unfortunately it didn’t help. I’m not certain how to tell if Google have blocked the API due to heavy use. However, I’m able to use the [locations_map] no problem. Is that not using the same API?
Mon 13 Aug 2012 at 14:40 #49893FrankyKeymasterYes, that uses the same API. Did you by any chance change any of the code?
Otherwise, for testing: mail me an admin account and password at liedekef [at] telenet.be , so I can take a look myself.
