    Hi there,

As far as I could find, following bug isn’t posted yet:

On http://www.lkc-lueneburg.de, in the right widget-area at the bottom, the calendar didn’t recognised the current months. In September it already showed Oktober, while event-links still point to September.

Also: The arrows didn’t changed the month, or only after a few clicks on them (Tested on Firefox/Linux, Firefox and Chrome/Android, IE/Win). Screenshot here (Relating link bottom left corner): http://xn--lkc-lneburg-xhb.de/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Bildschirmfoto-vom-2012-09-30-170325.png

Meanwhile it seems, that everything works again, except slow change of month.

    Many greetings from Germany

    Daniel

It seems this is not a EME bug, but a redirect issue due to the umlaut in your http address:

if you look at the source of http://www.lkc-lueneburg.de, everything redirects to http://lkc-lüneburg.de, so AJAX requests (for the month change) get a redirect answer and thus fail.

Going directly to http://lkc-lüneburg.de/ and testing the calender: everything works just fine

Thanks a lot for that information! The possibility to use ‘Umlaute’ like ü,ö,ä is a great chance on one hand, on the other it causes that kind of trouble :/.

I’m far away from being a IT-professional, and AJAX is a detergent for the kitchen for me…

I’m going to search for my own also, but do you have an idea to fix that?

hehe, ajax indeed is a detergent 🙂

But in your case: I believe you can set this in the wordpress general settings. There’s also info on the net on how to change the home address for your wordpress installation (if you don’t want to reinstall): http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL

It’s not mainly an EME-topic, but unfortunately it’s the pluin which isn’t working so far and maybe you still got an idea and time for posting it…

You said: EME works properly, when using the address with the Umlaut ‘ü’. WP-Installation (like posted in your link) is set to http://xn--lkc-lneburg-xhb.de, because AJAX-requests go to this address.

I tried to redirect lkc-lueneburg.de (and all other domain-names) *externly* to http://xn--lkc-lneburg-xhb.de and no more *internly* to the WP-directory, with configuration-utitlity of my web-hoster. But still the request fails.

So you can’t use EME with different domainnames within one WordPress-installation with EME?

EDIT: OK, I found the topic ‘Ajax cross domain call’, which doesn’t make me feel very optimistic, because sourcecode must be changed. /EDIT
