Events Made Easy › Forums › Generic › Using Placeholder #_PAYMENT_URL
Hi, I have been using this placeholder to send email reminders for payments.,
However I have fou nd that they quite often don’t work. I sent myself 6 test emails using this placeholder, having registered for an event but not paid. Out of the 6 emails, it only sent the link once, the other five just showed the code instead ? Any suggestions.?
Make sure you use “Booking mails” as the mail type, otherwise this placeholder doesn’t work.
I found the old post when I was experiencing the same problem a few months ago. It now works….whay would all the other placeholders show on the attendees email but not this one..?
Great Plug in by the way..if it could incorporate multiple event booking it would really save my users having to fill out a new form for every session they wish to book; and we have 15 or more sessions during the year.
An attendee is not linked to a single booking, so showing a payment url for a booking is impossible. It only works per booking, not per attendee.
Multiple event booking is a whole different thing … you can create a feature request for that if you want, but other features still need implementing as well.
