I list the cost of my programs in the Event Details because I do not have payment options set up and the EVENTPRICE does not link to the event unless it has a payment option. Up until a recent upgrade, the information was always there. I was recently advised by a client that the course descriptions are now appearing as “Workshop cost is _(insert blank space)__ and includes pattern.”
Please advise if there is fix to this issue.

Mon 13 Jan 2014 at 16:36 #51037AnonymousInactiveYes, in the details I am typing “The cost of this workshop is $30 and included the pattern.” Here is a link to an example page. http://buttons-and-bolts.com/events/477/quilting-101
As you can see in the first paragraph, where a price should be following “Cost is” it just goes onto the next word instead of displaying the text I entered. Here is my text exactly as it appears in my dashboard on WordPress.
“Need to learn the basics of quilting? Join us for a 3 hour class where you will learn how to cut fabric using a rotary cutter, ruler and mat, find a quarter-inch seam allowance and piece a few basic blocks. Bring your machine along so we can show you all the right settings to use. Class size limited to five. Cost is $30 and includes a take-home folder for your sample blocks and worksheets. Receive 10% off the purchase of any supplies for this class.”
You can clearly see that there is a dollar amount listed there. It just disappears when published to the website.
Mon 13 Jan 2014 at 16:43 #51038AnonymousInactiveIt does appear that the EVENTPRICE is now linking properly even when I am not using a payment option during registration. However, the text within the details is still missing. I will work around it for the time being.
Mon 13 Jan 2014 at 17:09 #51039FrankyKeymasterWell (assuming the “$30” is just part of the text): it seems something else is removing the “$30” then, EME doesn’t look at that. But I’ll try at home.
To be sure: do you use the #_EVENTPRICE description in the text? And you say that without payment options, it is empty?
Mon 13 Jan 2014 at 17:44 #51040AnonymousInactivePreviously the #_EVENTPRICE would not link to the entry in that section. I believe that there has been an update to the plug-in that has corrected that as it seems to be working just fine now. I was not using the #_EVENTPRICE format in the details section. Previously attempted to utilize it in the Single Header Format and have found that it does indeed link to the entry now. I have a minimal amount of experience utilizing HTML code. Now that I am aware the #_EVENTPRICE code will link to the entry I can try using that in the details as well. However, I do have a program that is $15 for the first week and then $5 for each occurrence depending on whether they bring the required finished project or not. It was much easier to explain that in the details, however whatever the glitch is that is not possible.
