Events Made Easy › Forums › Generic › Updated to 1.2.8 and Events Single is broken
Hello,
I had your plugin working really well for me and I updated now when I click on a event to go into it’s single view the URL changes but it just refreshes the page. I’ve tried deactivating and activating, resetting permalinks, and in a bunch of different orders of that. I can get it to either spit out a 404, refresh the page w/changing the permalink, or single will go to my index.php
Any thoughts off the top of your head what might be going on? If not, is there any where i can revert back to 1.2.6?
It seems to me you have played with your event page setting. Read this:
http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=8
So if the seetting “Events page” is empty: point it to a correct page, and reset the permalinks afterwards. I’ll make sure that next version will test this setting to see that it is not empty and pointing to an existing page.
Okay,
So I deleted the events page. Deactivated the plugin, and reactivated it and it didn’t create an events page. So I created one, in the settings set it to the “Events” page, reset permalinks..still having the same issue.
I also tried deleting the plugin entirely locally, redownloading it with all fresh settings and out of the box its still doing the same thing.
any ideas?
Can I get a temporary admin account? If yes: liedekef@telenet.be
Btw, between 1.2.6 and 1.2.8 there are no changes that could explain a faulty behavior like this:
I fixed it, it had nothing to do with your new release. I was trying to use your plugin in a custom template…which I can’t seem to do without breaking it. Anyway, thank you for your help and fast responses!
