Please, I suggest you quickly include the following features in your plugin, which are already in other events calendar plugin:

1. Recurring event to be displayed only once on the events listing page

2. In the Calendar page, there should be a drop down list of months, so that someone can jump to a specific month, rather than only clicking on << or >>.

3. In the Calendar page, there should be Events Category so that someone can choose a category and all the events that belong to that category will show in the calendar.

3. In the Calendar page, there should be month, week and day view.
