Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › Move hosting error
Hi everyone, i’m getting a bunch of errors after migrating my WP to a new hosting provider:
Warning: mysql_real_escape_string(): Access denied for user ”@’localhost’ (using password: NO) in *********/public/wp-content/plugins/events-manager-extended/events-manager.php on line 1356
Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this?
Thanks
WP settings are wrong: check your database settings in wp-config.php
Also: events-manager-extended is no longer supported for over 2 years already, switch to events-made-easy.
Hi Franky,
Thanks for the feedback – I would ideally like to get the old plugin back up and running
When you say check my database for the settings – Could you give me some more info on what I’ll need to update?
If you need any more background, please let me know
Thanks
The old plugin is no longer supported (and might not even work anymore), but the migration to Events Made Easy should just work.
Concerning the settings: see your wp-config.php file. I never used fixed usernames and passwords in the plugin, so check your wp-config.php file.
Prefect, yeah your right! the content just carried over
Thanks for your help
If you switch to the new plugin, make sure you just use the new shortcodes too 🙂
