Hello,
Is it possible to have an unique id for recurring events?
Do you mean a placeholder like for events (#_EVENTID)?
In the calendar, I’d like to link the recurring events at the same like and not to have one different event for each day.
I don’t really understand what you’re trying to do here, but I can provide a #_RECURRENCEID placeholder …
I’m not sure if this is the same thing or not, but I was hoping to get way to link to the next upcoming event in a recurrence.
excuse me for my bad english. I try to explain my question using those images:
now:
how i would it like to be:
With this example the “EVENT EXAMPLE” in the calendar (from 31/10 to 03/01) should link to id “22025”
is it possible?
For a recurrence, each individual event is still an event. So linking to an event id will never get you to the whole series.
But if you want to show recurrent events only once in the calendar, you can use the option show_recurrent_events_once for the eme_events shortcode. See http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=18
