Hi (Franky?),
I have installed EME-events on several sites now and it is all working excellent!
I have installed eme on a new site and there is something weird happening in the admin-section. When I try to add a new event, there are all the sections like; details, begin-end-date, category and the ‘add featured’ image section etc. (you can also hide/show them in the upper right corner of the WordPress area, right?)My ‘add featured image’ section just disappears after saving the event! There is no way I can bring it up again. There is no effect when I click on the upper right section of the WordPress area to hide/show the items. That means I can no longer ‘change’ a featured image and also not see it if an event has a featured image at all in the backend list. The featured image is showing on the site itself. I disabled all the plugins and changed the theme to (standard)twentyfifteen, but it doesn’t work. The (featured)image section is not showing anymore:
My temporary website url: http://www.vriendschapcr.nl/wordpress/
If you wan’t I can make a adminlogin for you (mail?)
Thu 9 Apr 2015 at 23:19 #54074FrankyKeymasterThat’s weird and of course should not happen. I’ll try it out here too but you can always mail me an admin account at liedekef@telenet.be
Btw: check your browser for javascript errors tooThu 9 Apr 2015 at 23:52 #54075FrankyKeymasterJust tested it here: no issues at all with the featured image.

I tested and tested everything, threw away all the format.
Tested for javascript errors.
I tried debugging with the script: define(‘SCRIPT_DEBUG’, true); on the wp-config.php file.
Don’t know exactly what did the trick, but everything is working fine again… pfiew!
I never experienced a problem like that before with the plugin, so I kind of ‘panicked’!Thanks anyway for your quick respons and excellent plugin! 😉

It is happening again…
I send you an invitation to an admin-account on your email, I’m flabbergasted!
I now see a warning on javascript;JQMIGRATE: jQuery.browser is deprecated

Fri 10 Apr 2015 at 15:35 #54080FrankyKeymasterI updated some of your events and changed featured images … no issues here. Maybe your browser is acting up?
Fri 10 Apr 2015 at 18:37 #54081AnonymousInactiveyeah, I thought of that as wel, but there is no difference, if I log in via Chrome, Firefox or Safari or the other browser*. I tested another user (= You, and the other user I made) for login, and yep, the image area pops up again. (see images)
So it seems to have something to do with me as a user, though I am an administrator, and I can’t think of anything that might have to do with that.
I will send you my user login, maybe you can figure it out, maybe a setting that is in conflict with the EME-events made easy plugin.
Sat 11 Apr 2015 at 08:01 #54082FrankyKeymasterIt is indeed your user that has issues.
