I have someone using EME who wants both stored credit cards as well as recurring payments ability.
2CO has a recurring payments system, but doesn’t store credit cards.
We can’t store the credit cards ourselves, too much hassle there. Are any of the other methods able to have stored credit cards as well as recurring billing and work with EME?

Maybe paypal does.Fri 8 May 2015 at 01:45 #54193AnonymousInactiveI’ve been trying to research each supported gateway but thought someone might know or have already integrated one of them that does this.
Fri 8 May 2015 at 21:47 #54206AnonymousInactiveI also am finding out that 2Checkout will probably have issues with anybody who uses them who are also using EME.
Basically, they list “Events, Seminars, and other live events” as a “restricted product” on their website here.
If that is a restricted product, what are most people going to be using EME for?!?I’m hoping the few people I’ve hooked up with EME and 2CO are not screwed when people start buying their events/classes.
Mollie and Sage Pay are two other options supported by EME but those are not really USA centered.
Another is Web Money but they have like a million services I can’t even find where they offer just accepting credit cards. It’s too complex.
Then there is PayPal which everybody knows but clients often say specifically they do NOT want to use it. And the checkout experience is less than smooth sometimes.
First Data Live is not even a thing any more, it’s called Payeezy now and I don’t know if the APIs have changed or anything. They have way too many fees, signup fee, monthly fee, multiple percentage fees etc.
I’m stuck about which to choose. 2CO is not going to work, Paypal is not wanted, Mollie and Sage Pay are not really US based. Worldpay doesn’t even seem to cater to simple credit card acceptance on websites, and First Data is too expensive.
EME needs to get some more options in here! Like maybe Stripe for one.

Just keep in mind us poor USA peoples, we don’t want foreign companies, First Data is too expensive, 2CO does not even really support events/classes, and Web Money is a matrix of complexity that people can’t figure out.
What I’m saying is, I can’t even use EME because there aren’t any payment options that work for people who need to sell their live classes in the USA!
I’m sure I’m being dramatic but I can’t believe how each of the built-in options dwindled away and I’m left with none I’m able to use.
Just something to think about.
