Since the last update or so, we’ve started noticing a problem with the newer events we have created. If we create an event and then go in to edit it and say change the # RSVP spaces. While we are editing the event, it shows the correct author and contact person. But as soon as we save the change we made, if we go back into the event, the event’s author no longer has a value, the Contact Person is defaulted to “Event Author” and the following message displays under the Contact Person field:
“Since the author is undefined for this event, any reference to the contact person (like when using #_CONTACTPERSON when sending mails), will use the admin user info.”
We can then select the correct Contact Person and save the change. It does save it. But if we come back later and make another change to the event, it once again loses the Contact Name and resets it to “Event Author” and we see the same message again.
All our old events seem ok (as long as we do not go in and edit them). Any ideas as to what might be causing the problem?
This happens whether we create the new event via the EME Frontend Submit Form or the Add new function.
