Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › Newsletter integration (MailPoet)
Hi Franky,
I would like to integrate a Newsletter inopt-form in the event registration. I am using MailPoet. Obiously you can integrate MailPoet by adding a checkbox to an existing form (http://docs.mailpoet.com/article/67-plugin-form-integrate). But actually I have no idea where to start. Can you give me any hint?
Thanks and best regards,
Meike
The next EME version will have many more mailing functionalities (opt-in/out is already possible now, but the next one: people in groups, planned mailings+reporting, custom formfields per person etc …). So you can understand I won’t be looking at MailPoet 🙂
Of course I understand that it is not necessarily prodcuctive for you to take particular plugins into account. I just thought you could give me a hint. It doesn’ t seem to be very complicated.
I tried to integrate MailPoet into EME form by using the shortcode but then I get two submit buttons and now I am searching for a solution…
I’m guessing you need to take a look at the EME action hook after rsvp form submit then. Since the form submits via ajax, other plugins/submits won’t do much there.
