thanks for ongoing development the recent updates. It’s awesome to see the plugin working better and getting more features. Even some I asked for. 🙂
I can imagine that it was a lot of work and I see still some open threads. So there is no need for more request I guess 😉
But I have another wish. And I am aware of wishes not always become true. 😀
And there might be the chance that there is not much to do. Do you know a newsletter plugin that also handles new events? So far I couldn’t find any that reacts on newly created events.Another possibility that comes to my mind is to create with EME optionally and automatically an new post with placeholders that links to the event and would like this be also spread by newsletters.

While I don’t know about other plugins interacting with EME (I imagine they don’t exist …), EME has CRON and mailing functionality. So go in the CRON submenu and find the “newsletter” 🙂
Future versions might have “reminder” settings per event, but that’s future 🙂Btw: using existing EME hooks and filters, you can also interact with any newsletter of your choice if you know and can program their api.
This plugin is like continuous Easter for my. Every now and then I discover something new ans sometimes only after some hint 🙂
Now the newsletter function is activated and I will see how to deal with it.
The more programming stuff is too overwhelming for me at the moment. My brain gets knotted easily when I’m diving into code. But there might be another incentive to get some headache 😀 Can it also be done by hooks and filters when I want to add WP users to a specific user role when the register for an event or joining a membership? I am looking for a comfortable way to combine WP users of the website and EME people/members.
