Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › Expired dates of an repeating event
Hi there,
I’m not sure how to solve this thing. I’ve created a (on different days) repeating event. On the start page of my website (https://rsv08.de) the eventslist is displayed well.
When the date of the event is over, it still appears in the eventslist (e.g. 13.09.2018-Pilates Kurs). In my backend this concrete day is crossed out. Why is it still displayed in the list and what can I do to hide the expired date? Of course the dates in the future have still to be displayed.
Sorry for my english :-/
Greetings. Michel
Your English is just fine 🙂
Concerning your event: check the start+end date of your recurring event. Don’t forget that you have 2 sets of dates:
– start / end date of 1 event, which in case of a recurring event only indicates the duration
– start + end of the whole recurrence.
My guess is your end date of 1 event is way too much in the future.
Hello Franky,
oh dear… just too easy. I missunderstood the first option and entered the hole period instead of only one date.
Now it’s all fine. Thank you very much for that hint. I’ll recommend you 😉
Bye. Michel
