Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › #_FIELDCOUNTER
Hello, there,
I use the #_FIELDCOUNTER in my form to number the participant data. (e.g. “Data for the 1st participant” etc.) Unfortunately the counter starts counting at “0”. Can I change this somewhere so that it starts at “1”?
Thank you
Bernd
This is indeed more logical. This change will fix this:
Thanks for the tip. Do I have to change this in events-made-easy/trunk/eme_formfields.php directly? What is after an update with the change?
Thank you
I just saw I don’t have the trunk folder. Is this the place for an override?
If you don’t know how to apply this yourself, please wait for the next release.
I think I already know how to use it. If I change it directly in the plugin file it works too. But after the next update my changes would be overwritten again.
The next update will include this change.
Okay, thanks. Then I can write the change directly into the plugin file. But is there anything else like an “Override”? If I want to make changes myself?
Nope 🙂
Not at the moment, but maybe the case will come. I have more “building sites” and am trying to understand the EME.
Wordpress allows overrides for themes (using a child-theme), but not for plugings. So it will not happen as long as wordpress doesn’t provide an interface for it.
