Upgraded 2.0.85 -> 2.1.0 and now EME, and my entire events calendar on my website, have disappeared!
Okay a friend helped me out
SOLUTION
Went into file manager in cpanel and found EME folder in plugins folder
Renamed (added a 1 in front of the name)
Reinstalled EMEE
Activated
* At this point it showed up in the admin panel on my website
Deleted cache in WordPress
Deleted old, renamed folder
Fixed!
Although I’m glad it works again, there’s no change in EME that warrants it being removed from the menu.
The only case this is possible is if another plugin (mostly older unsupported ones) puts itself in a fixed position in the menu, thus possibly overwriting the EME menu location. See this discussion: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/eme-missing-from-wp-navigation/
