Events Made Easy › Forums › Generic › Public vs Private event
I thought that when a event is ‘Private’ you have be logged in to make reservations.
But that does not work. I had a event on Private (So I could make pre-reservations) but I also got reservations from other people (I don’t work with members) So other, except myself can’t log in.
If an event is private, only logged-in users can see it or act on it.
You can even try this out yourself. So you need to figure out how the others logged in, or maybe if the event was marked public without you realizing it …
YES exactly, that how I supposed it should work. but unfortunately it’s work like this anymore. I Just tested it.
Even when I’m logged out and the event is marked ‘Private’ I still see the reservation form and can make the reservation.
(I have screenshots)
That’s weird. My quick test showed otherwise. But I’ll test again this weekend. Please do make sure no caching plugin is causing this too.
Btw, a demo site (with temp login) would be nice too.
I made a test event https://www.nijend24.nl/test_event/
It’s private
Raph.
