Events Made Easy › Forums › Generic › add title argument to [eme_ical_link]
Hi, the title says it already. The title would appear as a calendar property X-WR-CALNAME: before the first event data. You might want to also provide arguments for a description (X-WR-CALDESC) and other items from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICalendar#Calendar_extensions such as GUID (X-WR-RELCALID), timezone (X-WR-TIMEZONE) and recommended update interval (X-PUBLISHED-TTL), but I don’t have any experience with those. I’ve seen the name property in use when subscribing to ICS calenders using ICSx⁵ (formerly known as ICSdroid). The name was offered as the name of the subscribed-to item instead of some part of the URL. Sadly the same does not work in Thunderbird (Lightning add-on).
Those are not part of the ical rfc, see https://icalendar.org
Also, I googled around and found many people having issues with e.g. X-WR-CALNAME, so I will not implement these.
