Hi,
I’m a new french user and EME seems to be the exact plugin I need.
But, I have a général big problem. I can’t add any event, or catergory or anyelse. I always have the message ” Problem detected when adding a personn”. It’s the same for adding custom fields, events or any other.
I don’t understand. Please help

ArnaudWhat is your mysql version? If older than 5.6, then please upgrade first. Then remove EME completely and reinstall.
Thanks for the answer. SQL version is 5.5. The website is on Ionos and they told me to back the database, erase it and then create an other one. I am sorry but I think I won’t do this now and leave EME for the moment. I’am sad about this

ArnaudI’m sorry, but mysql 5.5 is out of support and end of life quite some time ago. So I can’t support that version anymore. Backing up your db and importing it in 5.6 is however an easy thing to do, and Ionos should even assist you with that.
Btw: even wordpress recommends at least 5.6 …Thanks for your encouragement. I’am going to do this opération. The MySQL version will be 5.7.
For the moment, I’am backing up DB and files.

RegardsI just do the migration, delete and reinstall EME and everything seems to work perfectly.
