Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › remove second schema.org (script type=”application/ld+json”)
Tagged: ld+json
Hi Franky
following your instructions in the FAQi added extra info (via json) to my events for google in the settings field “other” – “custom HTML header for events”
Now in Google search console i get some errors, information is missing. Inspecting the Header of an event, i seee there are two scripts type=”application/ld+json” providing different information. First ist my custom script including Performer, Price and others. The second is a generic one, only providing Name, description and Location. I think that two scripts interfere each other and google doesnt like this.
Is the second (generice) one automatically created by EME? And am i able to deactivate or to substitute it with my own custom ld+json script?
If you want to look at an eventpage by me with this problem: ponte-ulm.com event
Thanks for your time and help,
Silas
EME has a filter that allows to remove these generated headers. The next version will rename this filter to eme_extra_event_headers_json_filter, and then you can just return an empty result there if wanted.
