I’ve been working with Google Search Console and recently I’ve seen a number of pages indexed that I hadn’t noticed before:
https://northernohio.golf/events/2021-02-20/?category=13,21,36,16,35,17,30,34,20,19,23,24,25,31,39
https://northernohio.golf/events/2021-02-13/?category=13,21,36,16,35,17,30,34,20,19,23,24,25,31,39
https://northernohio.golf/events/2021-03-06/?category=13,21,36,16,35,17,30,34,20,19,23,24,25,31,39
I don’t know how the bots are reaching these URLs (I don’t have them displayed/linked to like that anywhere), and don’t know if it’s wise to let them continue to index in this format.
Thoughts? And any ideas on how I might noindex such a thing if that makes sense?

They only do that if you have a link to that somewhere on your page (maybe a calendar?).
There are calendars in several locations across my site, from widgets, shortcodes, etc.
But none of those calendars create a link to a page like the URLs in the examples above, for a single date across multiple categories.
I can’t find anywhere in Settings where I created such a link either.
Maybe it’s not a big deal that those dynamic event/date pages are being indexed. Just thought you might want to know, as I don’t think it’s something I’ve created…
