Events Made Easy › Forums › Generic › Integration of more placeholders in mails
Tagged: E-Mails
Hello, I have just tried to send an event-related email as a payment reminder for tickets that have not yet been paid for. I saw that the placeholders from the RSVP mails and booking information cannot be used at the moment. Does it make sense to integrate them here? In my case these are e.g. the #_AMOUNTREMAINING and the #_PAYMENT_URL. Thanks and best regards
It depends on the type of email you send. If you send event-related mails of type “booking” then you can use all the booking placeholders. For attendees you can use attendee placeholders. For regular EME groups/people you can only use event placeholders.
Thanks very much. I have now tried both variants. Unfortunately, the placeholders mentioned are not translated for attendees e-mails or booking e-mails. I think I haven’t overlooked or done anything wrong here either.
Tested a event mail of type “booking” and used the mentioned placeholders: it works just fine.
