Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › additional columns on Pending / Change Approval page and printable view ?
from the EME admin sections:
Event Make Easy –>
Pending Approval
or
Change Approval
is that possible to display additional columns than the current one?
For example, i like to see the possibility to display
item_id or transaction id (for paid event) used for any payment gateway.
btw what is unique nbr and how is it related to item_id send payment processor like paypal ?
Bottom line is, i need to find a way to easily link a booking/registration to a payment transaction(if paid) ?
When a payment arrives through a payment gateway, it is normally marked as paid automatically.
Also, you can set up mails (IPN notification template) to alert you of these, and those mails can contain all regular booking placeholders (like the normal ID for example).
I can add the payment random id (your “item_id”) to it, but it is a long string and difficult for you to search in.
Is the interface from the payment gateway to your site not working as expected?
The unique nbr: see the placeholder doc for booking mails (concerns Belgium banks).
during our setup, we ran into a small problem in IPN notification(it was sent by paypal, but eme verification detect invalid value, due to our paypal business account primary email not the same as business accout email, we fixed it later)
It is during that time, we are struggled to link what is paid in paypal and what item/event it got paid for?
In short, this is useful when there is dispute or IPN is broken.
In know paypal gateway send “item_id” (actually very small incremental number) to paypal, i know this could be payment gateway specific but something we can use to link the payment receipt in the payment vendor side will be helpful.
I added the payment ID column in the just released 2.à.6 version, should help you here 🙂
