All Pages Loading on an Endless Loop after Activation

Activation of the Events Made Easy plugin (Version 1.1.2, brand new installation) are causing my pages to load and re-load endlessly. I’m really stumped as to how. (The loading also makes it impossible to use forms, and I think I have some other bugs occurring because of it.) Deactivation of the plugin results in normal page function for all pages.

Any ideas? Thank you!

Did you move your wordpress? or changed some seo settings? First try deactivating and reactivating your seo settings. If that doesn’t work, I would need an example url, and maybe once admin access.

Also check no other plugin might create some conflict …

No, my wordpress has been in the same place since installation. I just installed Events Made Easy through the plugin search, and it is a brand new installation. I have tried deactivating all plugins and activating one at a time. That’s how I figured out which plugin was causing the loop.

I do not have a SEO plugin right now. Is that what you mean?

With SEO I meant the standard wordpress permalinks.

I tried removing the custom SEO settings and putting them to default. Is that what you meant? Sorry, I’m new at WP. The pages were still looping.

I’ve changed my SEO settings back to what they were before.

I’m not sure what to try next. I really like your plugin’s flexibility and am dying to use it on my site.

Hi Franky, I’m back. Sorry for the delay; this isn’t my fulltime job.

Since last time I have had a few updates come up for plugins and WP, and I’ve updated everything. The looping issue is still occurring when I activate Events Made Easy.

What files do you need access to in order to troubleshoot?

As said before:

– first try to reset the wordpress permalink settings to “default” and then switch back to your settings

– make sure some plugins as 403-redirect are not used.

– plugin is not active, still can’t test anything. So send a mail with admin info if you want.
