Allow RSVP until X days / hours before END

I appreciate the option to “allow RSVP until this many days [/ hours] before the event starts”, but I need this same ability, but based on the end of the event instead of the start.

Any chance this could be added?

You can always check the #_DAYS_TILL_END and #_DAYS_TILL_START via conditional tags, and hide the booking form if wanted …

Edit: I think in the past I suggested to somebody that (via a small db modif) the rsvp ‘cut off’ days could be negative as well, so it could be past the start date of an event too. Maybe that could help you?

Yes, I have used this before.

But I need the user to be able to register for an event that has already started. The current RSVP settings will not allow for this.

Example Use:
If I have an “opening” (a scheduled event) in my schedule from May 1st – July 30th, and the current date May 15th, the user would not be able to register because the event has already started. If I can make the RSVP cut off time at the end of the event, then I could use the plugin in some unique situations.

I don’t think the negative cut off RSVP days would be very convenient because the dates of these “openings” in the schedule can be quite dynamic.

I hate to ask and I am sure that you are probably tired of seeing my mug so much on the forum… 😀 But where can I adjust the settings for this? I added the changed files, deactivated and reactivated and I still don’t see it under Settings anywhere.
