Hello,
I’m trying out the eme-Plugin here:
http://dithmarschen-blog.de/terminliste-dithmarschen/
I put the calendar-widget onto the sidebar. As you can see you cannot klick further to the next resp. to the earlier month.
Where is my fault?
Thanks
Chris
Tue 30 Aug 2011 at 15:58 #48529FrankyKeymasterI haven’t checked your site yet, but I think you have javascript issues due to either a plugin or your theme. First try the EME option to always include the javascript in the header and see if that works.
Tue 30 Aug 2011 at 17:18 #48530FrankyKeymasterIt seems to work ok now, so I assume the setting helped. So you should read this faq:
Tue 30 Aug 2011 at 19:18 #48531AnonymousInactiveI’m very sorry but neither the setting (javascript always in the header) nor http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?page_id=195
The theme-author himself put the <?php wp_head(); ?> correctly.
Tue 30 Aug 2011 at 19:50 #48532FrankyKeymasterin a correct theme, wp_hed and wp_footer are to be called correctly, and as I said: since it works now the issue was with the theme and the faq points to that fact
Tue 30 Aug 2011 at 21:17 #48533AnonymousInactiveHaving the same issue. Using EME 4.0.1, wp_head(); is called in the header, I’ve tried both with and without including JS in the header, but the calendar cannot navigate forward (although it can go backward).
Wed 31 Aug 2011 at 07:26 #48534AnonymousInactiveSorry, the eme-Plug-in doesn’t work correctly. Clicking onto “>>” the system tries to reach the link “#” and nothing happens.
Wed 31 Aug 2011 at 07:27 #48535AnonymousInactiveI think I should elect another plug-in. Is it that what you wished to say?
Wed 31 Aug 2011 at 08:46 #48536FrankyKeymasterI can mail you a screenshot if you want: the map shows just fine, and the calendar advances to the next/previous months as well.
Maybe something in your browser?
Wed 31 Aug 2011 at 08:57 #48537AnonymousInactivemmh, now I changed the theme – back to twentyeleven, and I don’t see anything.
Neither with firefox nor with chrome. My firefox deletes everything when closed.
So I’m busyly closing and opening it.
Just another enigma of our brave new world?????
Wed 31 Aug 2011 at 09:17 #48538FrankyKeymasterI mailed you a screenshot 🙂
Wed 31 Aug 2011 at 12:43 #48539AnonymousInactiveBeen having the same problem. Using Eme 4.0.1, header and footer are called properly in the theme, tried both with and without inserting JS in header, removed other plugins, but the calendar widget still can’t advance to the next month. I have noticed , however that it will advance in IE 9 but not Firefox 6.
Wed 31 Aug 2011 at 13:03 #48540AnonymousInactiveI apologize if I am duplicating replies. Having same calendar issue. Using EME 4.0.1, header and footer are called properly in the theme, have tried both with and without including JS in header, have deactivated other plugins, but the calendar will not advance to future months for which there are events entered. I noticed it will work in IE 9 but not Firefox 6.
Thu 1 Sep 2011 at 14:38 #48541AnonymousInactiveHaving the same issues. Using EME 4.0.1, header and footer are called in the theme, tried both with and without inserting JS in header, disabled all other plugins. But sidebar calendar still won’t advance to future months. Upon further testing, I noticed it does work in IE9 but not Firefox 6.
url I’m working on is http://detroitmotion.aptotest2.com
Fri 9 Sep 2011 at 11:32 #48542AnonymousInactiveThank, you, Franky! Now I solved the enigma: Using a mobile internet connection (f.i. t-mobile) I realize the described faults. Using a wired connection it works as you desribe. In most cases it doesn’t work using W-LAN.
The problem with Google Maps can also occur clicking maps.google.com. Therefore I had the idea to test the different connections.
But the problem that the calendar doesn’t show the next or the passed month also occurs when I’m using the mobile connection.
Fri 9 Sep 2011 at 11:34 #48543AnonymousInactiveSorry, I’ve to add: I tried Firefox 6.0.2 and Chrome 13.0.782.220 / windows 7.
Fri 9 Sep 2011 at 13:04 #48544FrankyKeymasterI tried using the firefox here at work, and also IE8 and chrome: all work for moving back/forth months in the calendar at http://dithmarschen-blog.de/
Fri 9 Sep 2011 at 13:42 #48545AnonymousInactiveYes, with wired connection it works, but not using W-LAN or mobile (UMTS/HSPA) connection.
Fri 9 Sep 2011 at 22:44 #48546FrankyKeymasterThen check the generated html from your theme for these, that part is not changeable by me …
