Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › Can I add WordPress 3.0 Post Thumbnails support for Events?
Hi!
I want to show only Events’ main images (posters) on my frontpage, but inside single Event it can be as many images as I want to add. It will be ease if I can set on of the pictures of events as “thumbnail” (main image).
Is it possible to add post-thumbnails for Event posts?
There’s a feature request for event images. For now, I advise you to use an attribute for that. Read up on attributes here: http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=29
I hope to introduce this for the next version (maybe for the bugfix version …)
Franky
Thanks Franky!
Is there any way to check if attribute is empty or not?
I’m using this default list format:
<li>
<p><img src="#_ATT{Thumbnail}{Main Image}" alt="#_EVENTNAME" /></p>
<p>#_LINKEDNAME [#_{d/m/Y} - #H:#i]<br /> <br />#_TOWN</p>
#_EXCERPT
</li>
But if custom attribute “Thumbnail” is not set, list will be shown with broken images 🙁 Any way to fix it?
Use conditional tags to check for that, see http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=24
Thanks! I definitely should read Manual first. Now everything works as I want!
