Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › Can I Create a 'Directory Page' of locations?
It would be cool to have a page that shows an alpha list of all of the locations that have been created, whether currently hosting an event or not. Almost like a directory page of locations (in my case, golf course in the area from our tournament calendar).
Can such a page be done currently? I couldn’t find instructions for a locations list page.
(And I might as well swing for the fences on the request: how about a map on that page showing them all, too? That would really be awesome!)
Something like [events_locations] or [locations_map] ? It’s already there … see http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=42 and http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=38
Yessir! Sorry that I didn’t see this in the documentation.
I implemented it here: http://neohgolf.com/golf-course-directory/
As you can see, the map/and pin locations list for that map works perfectly.
But as you can see further down the page, the direct links to the location pages does not work; it lists out the location names but doesn’t create the links to their pages.
Per the instructions, I used the short code:
[events_locations link=true]
Did I miss something?
P.S. — I just took down the [events_locations link=true] shortcode from above to make the page live.
“link=true” should be working in 1.0.15 (not 1.0.14), which version are you on?
Correction: “link” doesn’t do anything anymore, you need to change the format in “Default location list item format” to your liking (I edited the doc at http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=42 to reflect this)
