    Hi.
First of all: I installed the plugin on that site but didn’t configure it myself. Today I was asked to check an error which – after asking I was told – has been there “forever”. Always good to be told as late as possible, but anyhow:

I’d like to check and probably change what’s put out by #_ADDBOOKINGFORM. I just can’t find where this is done. The issue is that the captcha part is displayed twice (same code, both need to be filled) which is unintentional:

I suspect that this is a user error by the one who configured this…

    Best regards
    Florian

The reason is that your rsvp form consist of a html-table (with tr and th/td elements), but you forgot to put the captcha placeholder inside a row too …
So in fact the generated html is wrong, and as a result shows twice in some browsers.

Hi Franky. I know the HTML is faulty. I didn’t put that myself but I can’t find where I can change what’s put out by #_ADDBOOKINGFORM. Is that somewhere in a file? I can’t find it in the settings 🙁

Okay… now I’ve got it! The second to last textarea in Events – Settings – RSVP. This is the line that was in there:
#_CAPTCHAHTML[<tr><th scope=’row’>Übertragen Sie bitte diese Zeichen in das Feld:</th><td>#_CAPTCHA</td></tr>]

I think this was the old syntax, probably even an old default. Changing the square brackets to curly brackets did the trick. I obviously didn’t look closely enough to see that difference, so I thought this must be somewhere else. My bad 🙁

By the way: The German translation of the h3 above the textarea where you can edit it says “Teilnahmebestätigung: Format des Formulars” which, to me, seems misleading. The first word “Teilnahmebestätigung” translates to “confirmation of participation” (in German that would be something one gets *after* an event to verify one has taken part) and should rather be just “Buchung” (“booking”).

Thanks for the German intell 🙂 I’m asking the person doing the German language translations to take a look at this.

Thank you for reporting, fixed and submitted to Franky.
