can't lose comment box – E-Dynamics wordpress

Every single event page carries a Comment box which I can’t see how to lose, as you can see here:

http://nicholasmulroy.com/events/3/6-nations-italy-vs-ireland/

With posts and pages I can easily allow or disallow comments but I can’t see any way to control this on events. Any advice much welcome.

Just disable the comments on the “events page”, this is the page you have set in the EME settings.
