Hello Franky,
the Captcha case insensitiveness seems not to work properly.
I’ve turned that feature on, but when a user types a mixture of upper and lower characters the Captcha is failing. Only when the user types the coder either in upper OR lower case the code get’s accepted.
Cheers
Joerg
Another issue I just encountered is that when a user types in the Captcha and using a capital letter the form does not behave as expected. No error message is displayed, the form will not be send, the page reloads and hides the booking form.
Code seems ok … I’ll do some testing too
Tried it here again, all seems to work as expected.
Ok, 2 things – first shame on me – I made a translation issue. So my setting in regdards to the insensitiveness was just set to the opposite so EME was expecting the proper case. (translation updated)
Last thing, which really is the trouble maker is the WP Mailto Links Plugin but only if you use a specific plugin setting!
The setting “Yes, convert plain emails to mailto links” is causing the issue. I’ll deactivate this plugin now and search for an alternate solution to protect any email address on my page against bots.
Ok, this plugin works for me and is much faster and slim: Email Address Encoder
