Change Currency Default (Paypal et al.)

It would be useful to be able to set the default currency for Paypal and other payments, so that users don’t have to change the default (from “Euro”) every time they enter a new event.

I’ve found that manually changing eme_events.php to use “USD” instead of “EUR” works great, but of course that won’t survive an upgrade. I would hope this could be a simple addition to the EME settings page.

I would like to amend this Feature Request to include other “missing” defaults relative to the same RSVP section for Adding Events.

For example, the existing EME settings accommodate “By default enable registrations for new events” but those settings do NOT include a default for “Require approval for registration”. For us, those two options go hand in hand.

Other “missing” default options include “Allow RSVP until x days”, Price, and Payment Method.

I find that, as with the Currency setting, I am able to change these settings manually in eme_events.php .

In trunk: default currency, price and “Require approval for registration”.

Payment method: by default every method with settings set, will be selected.

Edit: the “Allow RSVP until” can now also be given a default value.
