    Would it be difficult to make #_NEXTEVENTS, #_PASTEVENTS, and #_ALLEVENTS clickable when used within the Default single location page format? Without that visitors have no direct way to get from listed events to information about those events.

    Use the “Default location event list format” setting, which follows normal event formatting (see http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=26). So you can enter #_LINKEDNAME to get a link, etc …
