Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › Custom field not showing up in Booking-Table
Dear Franky,
I have created a custom booking form with a custom field using this syntax: #_FIELD{something} the new field successfully shows up in the booking form and its value shows when I add it to the confirmation email.
However, I would like the variable to show up as a new column in the bookings table (where confirmed reservations are shown) as additional Information about the person attending.
The Problem: When I go to the bookings table, the custom field does not show up as a new column, neither it does when exporting a csv.
Is it maybe only possible for specific, e.g. people placeholders to show up in the table? Or do I have to specify that the variable show somewhere? If so, I couldn’t find Info about both in the documentation or forum. In Reply #59167 you write that in order for custom fields to show up you have to “select these in the “Custom fields” select-box shown above” – only I couldn’t find the select-box you specified and I it would suffice for values to be shown only in the downloaded csv.
The custom Field I created is:
-dropdown menu
-usage as booking field
-mandatory
-searcheable and indexable
-values: yes||no
I am translating from German as I couldnt change EME menu Language to EN, sorry for that.
Thanks a lot in advance!
Helge
To show custom fields of type booking in the bookings overview, read the hint: rightclick on the column headers to show/hide columns. The “CSV export” (link under the event name) also shows these.
Great, that works – thanks a lot Franky!
