db access change?

In the last plugin update (1.0.10 posted last week), was any change made to how the db is accessed? Or perhaps something with the loading of Google Maps within the admin?

Ever since I updated to 1.0.10, it’s taking forever for me to get a page to add a new event, or to access an event pages to edit it. The pages also seem to get stuck frequently at the Google Maps section; they just stop loading there frequently.

Anyone else having this problem?

(I’ve already done the history clear/browser restart with no effect.)

Not really no … and we’re at 1.0.12 🙂

And 1.0.13 is around the corner 🙂

Concerning your issue: since it seems stuck at google maps, maybe you should check the internet access, maybe there’s an issue there since google maps work via the google api (so it connects to google sites for stuff).

And I just tested this on my public site: no issues in speed there.

You know, that’s an interesting idea. I was logged in to Google+ (without really thinking about it). The issue seemed to go away after logging out of it. Could be another issue with internet speed at that particular time of day, but it’s not out of the realm G+ slowed it. Yikes…
