easy way to edit event description of recurring events

I am looking for an easy way to make recurring event descriptions editable after creating them.

Please correct me if I am wrong:

There is one way to edit en event, and if I edit an event from a recurring series, it becomes an independent event and editing affects only this single event.

What I need:

Edit the desciption of all events that are belonging to an recurring event ( or same category could also be an solution)

I tried to use the link option – but as I understand, there is no option for the

#_ADDBOOKINGFORM in the template API, is this right? Or can I use some thing to add #_ADDBOOKINGFORM to a template except the standard automatic page?

Any hints welcome!

In the admin section, you can just click on the “Reschedule” link, which allows you to change anything for the recurrence.
