Events Not Showing Up Anywhere – AND, double post on event-list widget

My events arent showing up anywhere. I’ve posted some, and recurring, and even the ones that came preloaded with the plugin, arent showing up.

Here’s the permalink that came with the pre-loaded event that came with the plugin

Also, notice that the one I scheduled as the number 111 in it.

On my side bar widget (event list), my posts seem to show double. see that here, at the bottom of my side bar… scroll down to bottom of page to see what I mean about double posting the event (same day/same time)

The events page being pointed in your settings doesn’t seem to exist. Go to the eme settings page and correct this. Th en deactivate/reactivate the plugin for your permalink settings to be correct.

Here’s what I get on the page that is supposed to be set up for the classes

just plugged it in on another site of mine to see if it works. I tried posting a photo, well within the 700×700 guidlines. Image doesnt seem to work on either website Ive tried so far.

heres what I got on this new website im testing. If this warning due to the image uploadere?

How do I upload images effectively??

This error concerning wp_wpmeetup_groups has nothing to do with EME, so ignoring.

If getimagesize fails, you might be encountering general php issues to upload images (maybe it is disabled), check your webserver logs for possible errors here. Also check post_max_size and upload_max_filesize in your php.ini

OK Franky, I’ve set it up on my other website and I cannot figure out the following:

– Why the RSVP feature won’t show up?

– Why the Map won’t show up?

– Why the Image won’t show up?

ok, apprarently the webserver logs arent showing anything

The post_max_size is showing 64M and the upload_max_filesize is showing 64M as well.

What do these need to show?

Every event can be formatted. Since I don’t know how you want your events to be shown, I can’t go around showing everything. See the “format” settings in the EME settings: you need to use placeholders to format the events list and “single event format” to your liking.

In your case, look for the “Single Event Format” setting and play around with the placeholders #_IMAGE, #_MAP, #_ADDBOOKINGFORM and such. For all possible placeholders for events, see http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=25

For the image upload: maybe you have no rights to upload images to /tmp? See upload_tmp_dir in php.ini

Also, I added now an error if the upload fails, see:
