Events showing in wrong month??

Here is the problem:

At first everything looks fine, but as you go through the months, November has events from September. December has events from July up to December. I’m using this as the shortcode (with brackets instead of quotes):

“events_list paging=1 limit=0 scope=this_month”

Any ideas?

Can it be that the “wrong” events are recurrent ones?

They are recurring events that span multiple months, but shouldn’t it only show the events in that month, regardless if they are in another month or not?

Can you specify how one of those recurrent events is created? Then I’ll try to reproduce it here.

I just go to “Add new event” and select that is is a recurring event and then select the dates. (Ex: January 1 – February 1).

I’m unable to reproduce this with the data you supplied. Can you be more specific about the settings?

Give a complete example of what you enter for:

– Event date

– Recurrence dates

– Recurrence (daily, weekly, … and which days, weeks, …)

I can send you an admin account. What’s your email? Another thing to note, I just updated the plugin and it’s now showing all events from now until the month your looking in. For example, if you go to December, it shows you all of the events from now until the end of December. Thanks for all of your help with this!

Ok, so not a bug: you defined your events totally wrong. Giving an example:

Next Young Adults

Event date: 09/17/2012 – 02/25/2013

Recurrence date: 07/09/2012 – 12/17/2012 , weekly every Monday

==> this means one event is staring on Sept 17th 2012 untill Feb 25th 2013, and this is then repeated for the period 07/09/2012 – 12/17/2012, every Monday.

The event date should be the date for one event, not a whole period like you have it.

Eg: Event date: 09/17/2012 – 09/17/2012 (one day)

I corrected some of them, but not all. You should review your events by clicking on “reschedule” in the “Edit events” screen.

Great. Thank you so much for your help. We have a few different people that add events on our site, so I will make sure they are getting added correctly on this.
