every other week event

I’ve been unsuccessful finding anything in the forums about this…

Setup a 1-day event… name: ‘test every other week special event’, recurrence info: every other week (Weekly, Every 2 weeks, did NOT click any day), start/end date both 08/31, recurrence start/end date: 08/31 – 12/21.

Result: event scheduled every week, rather than every other (boo)

Setup a 2nd event with one different parameter… name: ‘test every other week camp, click Wed’, and checked the day ‘Wed’… all else identical.

Result: event scheduled every OTHER week (yea)

I’m in the process of documenting example setups for my client, and had been saying NOT to bother with clicking the day(s) for a recurrence – just to let it default based on the date entry… seemed like it would be easier for them. Then found this when trying the ‘every other week’ example…

Also have an Event Date issue, but I’ll post that separately, as I believe it is unrelated.
