get rid of shipping and handling charges?

I’m using the latest version of EME and WP, 2014 theme. When booking an event and attempting to make payment through PayPal live a shipping and handling charge of $2.50 is being added for priority handling. This not something I have set up nor can I find mention on the forums or in EME itself. How do I remove shipping charges? Or is PayPal adding that on it’s own?

On an unrelated note, currently it seems that all events must be listed on the page you select in Events – Events Page. Is it possible to have more than one events page? For instance, I’d like to have event listings under three categories list on their own pages. Ie: Events, Workshops and Certification pages with their own listings.

Shipping and all other extra costs are not handled by EME.

Of course you’re right! I found that PayPal was adding the minimum shipping fee since there was no weight associated with the event listings. Easy to fix in your PayPal shipping profile for anyone else who may run into this problem.

The reading you have suggested in the last two days has really helped me begin to grasp how EME works. You’ve obviously put a great deal of time and thought into it and I really do appreciate it!

Thanks. In your case: use the placeholder eme_events on a regular wordpress page and configure it’s behaviour using the available options.
