How does the plugin override the meta title?

I’ve just started using this plugin and so far think it is fantastic. I’ve managed to integrate to great effect so far, and it saves me so much time compared to my previous process.

I know people have had issues with SEO on this, but I wanted to try a workaround … I just need to ask a question first.

The plugin clearly takes the event title and uses it to populate the meta title of the page. Can you tell me how / where it pulls this within the plugin script? I was hoping I might be able to write a similar bit of script to wrap around the meta description, allowing it to be populated with the event title.

Is this worth trying? Or is it a dead end?
