Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › How to make events list [eme_events] show in theme default font?
Tagged: courier, list formatting
If I use [eme_events] by itself on a page, it renders in a fixed font (Courier I think). How do I get it to render in the default <P> font for my theme? Or does EME require a fixed font for that shortcode?
EME does not require a specific font, the font from your theme/CSS is being used.
Hi, I don’t mean to be a pest about this but maybe you can tell me why the Events page here:
https://northcoastvolleyball.org/events/
renders differently from this test page:
https://northcoastvolleyball.org/test-page/
Both use the <ul>
tag.
Note that I changed the name of your dummy container “Events” page to “Events_render” and made sure all the EME internal links were pointing to it. Then I created a new “Events” page which only contains the shortcode [eme_events scope=future] in a WP paragraph block. (I did this to keep the page, permalinks and main menu names consistent.)
I can’t for the life of me figure out why the Events page is rendering the ul tag in Courier. It just looks funky.
Thanks for your help. The plug-in is amazing regardless.
Hmmm. I tried replying and it didn’t accept it for some reason. Trying again, hope it’s not a double post and I’m not being a pest. 🙂
Why does the Test Page render correctly in Open Sans but the Events page with just the EME shortcode renders in Courier?

Yes I changed the name of the EME default dummy page to events_render and updated all the internal EME links to point to it. https://northcoastvolleyball.org/events/ is a new page with only the eme_events shortcode in a WP paragraph block. I did this so the primary menu, page title, permalinks would be consistent on our site. Thanks for any help.
