HTML Confirmation email

In the “Settings – Mail” tab, the “Respondent email format” contains the text that is sent to the registrant. It doesn’t seem that HTML is allowed… Is there any other way to send a “pretty” confirmation email instead of just plain text?

Indeed, this is not possible. But you can use “WP Mail” as sending method, and then use any plugin that handles this, like WP Better Emails and SendPress: Email Marketing and Newsletters

Will this be an option anytime soon? If not, can I use the EME placeholders in WP Better Emails or SendPress?

There are no plans to send html mail just yet. For now you can use WP Better Emails to convert text mails to html and add some stuff of your own. EME placeholders can’t be used in WP Better Emails, they are stricly used by EME itself.

Feel free to make a feature request for this.

This means that I won’t be able to personalize the confirmation that’s sent out if I use WP Better Emails… I’ll put in a feature request.
