Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › Hybrid events
All my events are hybrid events so I have to create 2 separate forms for every event. On top of that, my target audience speaks 2 different languages so in total, I have to create 4 entries for every event. It looks very messy and very easy to click and modify the wrong event when there are multiple ones going on at the same time.
So, is there any chance of you adding a selector for hybrid events? Registrants can select to join the virtual or in-person event and be sent the relevant email according to their selection. Also, can you add a duplicate function for templates as I need to have templates for different languages.
EME can support multiple languages, see https://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/language-support/
Concerning hybrid events: EME already supports hybrid events, you can enter a location which has location details (the address) *and* a location url (called MixedEventAttendanceMode in schema.org, and supported by google). It depends on what you want to achieve with that. If you want 2 amounts of seats, I suggest you use a multiseat-event and a custom field that lets them indicate how they want to attend (with some own javascript/jquery code that hides the seats-dropdown they shouldn’t see, if you really want to go to that extend). Mutliseat events are explained here: https://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/multiseat-events/
