Events Made Easy › Forums › Generic › Improve inaccurate german translation of word "spaces"
Hi, when a user cancels a booking with #_CANCEL_OWN_LINK, he/she gets the German confirmation-message “Die folgenden Buchungen wurden storniert: 30. Januar 2019 00:00: TEST (2 Orte).” The expression in brakets “(2 Orte)” should say “(2 Plätze)”.
It originates from eme_rsvp.php line 514: $format=”#_STARTDATE #_STARTTIME: #_EVENTNAME (#_RESPSPACES “.__(‘places’,’events-made-easy’).”).<br />”;
In that line, the word ‘places’ is translated into “Orte”, which is not accurate in this context. Could you in a next release for example replace the word ‘places’ with ‘seats’? Or provide a filter so that I can change the message? Or any other way to correct this?
Thank you!
Seats is a much more logical name than “places” 🙂
I think I’ll change it everywhere!
Hope you don‘t have to change it in too many places 😉
Already done, will be in the next version 🙂 Was mostly in info-text lines, some in presets and option values, some in comments (and I changed one variable name too).
Anyway, this is the fix:
