I installed Events Manager Extended on my wordpress site and loved it. Then I installed the Dynamic Content Gallery and OOPS! It doesn’t work with Events. Does this mean I have to choose between them? Where’s the bug and how can I fix it. PLEASE!
Can you explain what doesn’t work? I don’t know that plugin, but I just installed it and all events still work just fine.
Hi Franky, When the Events Manager is activated, the photos don’t show up. The black box of the DCG is on the site, but no photos. When I deactivate the Events… all the photos come back on. Weird!

If you give me a quick howto on how to use that plugin, so I can reproduce it? I see that events work on your site, but I don’t see black boxes …
I WISH I could tell you a quick how-to. It took me and a friend weeks to figure it out! And just as we were about to give up, we saw something on the net about it not working with Events Manager. We tried deactivating and then had success. But she really worked on it for me – I’m still unsure of how she got it up there. Are you the developer, by the way? Because I really liked so many features of your plugin. My book is just published, I’m developing this whole site around it and I love using the plugin for scheduling all the book signings, etc.
I’ve played around a bit, but maybe it’s easier if I can get a temporary admin account on your site? Than I can activate the plugin, see the (probably javascript) errors and deactivate it again …

If you agree to “miss” the photo gallery for 1 minute, I can see what’s going on. Otherwise I would suggest to look at other plugins for your purpose, eg:

Ok, I figured it out: the “dynamic content gallery” plugin uses mootools by default, which seems incompatible with the jquery of wordpress (which EME loads). The solution is simple: in the settings of the “dynamic content gallery” plugin, tab “Javascript options”, choose “jquery” as framework and not “mootools”, and everything will work again 🙂
